Description:
Gospel of Matthew: chapter twenty-eight. An angel appears to Mary Magdalene at the tomb of Jesus telling her that Jesus has risen. Jesus appears to his disciples and tells them to go to Galilee. At Galilee Jesus appears again to the disciples and baptises them so they may teach and spread the word of God. Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'T' in blue and red ink introduces the next Gospel of Mark. John the Baptist baptises Jesus in Jordan. The written space is c. 207 x 133 mm in two columns.
