Medical recipes. Line 1: 'oil of roset' = a distillation of roses (OED). Line 2 '.ache' is written in the right margin. Line 7: ?'recis'. line 8 this colon is added by a later scribe. Marginalia: line 9 'fever(s)' is written in left margin. Line 11 left margin: 'bjtyng of a wodh-owne' Line 15 left margin: 'lecher' Line 17 left margin: 'feve' Line 22 % = ink blotch. In the top margin, 'hede ache' can be made out where the rest of the writing is torn away. The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is anglicana.
