On the 'dies mali' (unlucky days of the medieval calendar) and days not to let blood. The top margin, including much of the first and second lines, and the right hand corner, are missing. Line 3: a mark like an initial at the end of the line. Lines 8-9 have a repair over a tear. Line 19: last words possibly veins? The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is anglicana.

December hath ij dayes þe vj and þe viij 5. off þres dayes [b]e be [w]a[r] eche man(er) þ(t) will 6. vse to late blode goode of medycyne takekynge 7. And namelyche of þise dayes þe la[s][d] daye 8. of feuerell and þe fyrste daye of december 9. ffor who þ(t) in any of þise ij dayes doth late 10. hem blode w(t) in x[l] dayes he shall be dede 11. And who þ(t) in þe xvij daye. of marche or in þe 12. xj daye auerell latyth hym blode he shall neu(er) lefyth 13. hye fyʒte. and w[h]o þ(t) in þe ende of maye in þe iiij. 14. daye or in þe v lattythe hym blode he shall neu(er) haue seu[*] 15.
