Description:

Medical recipes. In the top margin 'þesto eris .' is written, alongside crude floral patterning and an ink drawing of a transverse section of a head (left). Line 16: a later scribe has added 'of þe hed' after 'sekenesse'. Line 21: 'wrte' is added after 'kolis'. Line 23 above 'entente' is written 'hedde'. The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is mainly secretary.
