Medical recipes. Line 3 Gilbertus Anglicus has 'indorum' and 'Kebulis'. Line 16 note ' blacle', (not black). Line 19, in left margin: 'oraganu(~) oranu(~)'. The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is mainly secretary.

1. p(ro)fitiþ boþ(e) to manys sight and to his heryng And þei ben 2. þus made Take Aloes þ(t) is well wasshen . ij . dramys 3. of myrab mirablanis & Keb indoȝ r rebarb [l] mastik wor- 4. mode rosys violet seneagare cusut(er) of eu(er)yche a drame 5. temp(er) all þes w(t) the jus of fenell And if þ(u) wilt make it 6. sauff cast þ(er) to . vj . dramys and a half of samone pouderid 7. and make þ(er) of gobettis of þ(e) gretnesse of a weche and yeue 8. hym . xij . or .xiij . for þey ben full laxatiff And if þou wilt 9. purge hym of þ(e) Colre double or treble of þ(e) mirablanys 10. And if be for fleume double Keb and egare and if it be 11. for malencole duble ind(er) & Cene .
